Probably not.
You are asking for a non collateralized loan. Your past (and it could only have been in the past 2 years!) shows you didn’t handle credit well.

Kate you are so funny. Anyways, the only hope is in the relatives. you have to wait till you stablish yourself, in the meantime work 2 jobs, save, and pay cash right now because you won't be approved on credit application. Be patient, in 2 years or so, you will be stablish already if you will work on it.

I desperately need a substantial loan. I have poor credit, no co-signer, and am 20. Is there any hope for me?
I need money. I have poor credit history, am 20 years old. I need to know if there are any private loans, student or otherwise, available that would loan me money in spite of these issues. I am working full-time so I would obviously have the ability to re-pay, even without deferring…..
To clarify a few things, I had 5 credit cards at one point, and carried them sucessfully until I lost my job. I got 1 of them at 16, a 2nd a 17, the other 2 at 18 (You don’t have to be 18 to get a credit card!). And they were to pay off medical bills, so unfortunately at the time, credit cards were my only option.

Still looking into a relative to co-sign. Thanks everyone for your answers!
