Free Scholarship Search Can Help

Many would believe that if you pay for scholarship search sites (usually you pay for the membership fee and have access to thousand of scholarship listings worth more than a million dollars), there is a 100% guarantee that you can get the scholarship. To tell you the truth, registering with these scholarship searches would never ever give you assurance to win a scholarship. Since these scholarship grants are given to qualified applicants, not anyone who becomes a member of the scholarship search site would be able to win a guaranteed scholarship.

So what’s the use of paying just to be able to search for scholarships without the guarantee of winning a scholarship? Are there any incentives when you pay for scholarship search compared to free scholarship search?

It may not occur to you that free scholarship search serves only the same purpose as those scholarship search sites that ask for payment. Since many would believe that if you pay for something, you can get more. Yes, it is true on many things but it is not true with scholarship search. Then why pay?

If you want to search and locate for the best pre college, college, graduate, and post graduate scholarships, there is only one place to go: scholarship search. Well, as mentioned, scholarship search could be free and or with a membership fee. And realizing that there is no need to pay in order to access thousands of scholarship listings, we can now settle for free scholarship search.

Using free scholarship search requires you to sign up as a member. This is like signing up for paid scholarship search. The only difference is, you don’t have to key-in your credit card number.

Once a member, you can access the site’s database and find the type of scholarship that fits you. Remember, all you have to do it to register and you are given the chance to apply for scholarship without releasing money.

And another thing to remember: The success of your search will never depend on the site but to your will to find one. The free scholarship search will only help you find those scholarships, it is your job to make sure that you apply for it and make sure that throughout the process of your application, you do good and bring out all your best. In this way, your chances of winning the scholarship are bigger.

Federal Stafford Student Loans From Nextstudent Have Great Incentives On Already Low Rates

After exhausting all forms of “free money” for college, such as scholarships and federal grants, the next best thing for students are federal student loans (http://www.nextstudent.com) to help them pay for school. Federal Stafford student loans have low interest rates and are more appealing when they feature benefits and incentives, according to NextStudent, the Phoenix-based premier education funding company.

It is becoming much more difficult for some students to imagine their dream of a higher education, as college costs increasingly are on the rise along with the cost of tuition and other expenses. NextStudent believes that student loans (http://www.nextstudent.com/student-loans/student-loans.asp) should not be an extra burden to already cash-strapped college students, so the company offers incentives to make payments easier and more manageable.

. Federal Stafford loans do not require collateral or a credit check and payment is postponed until after graduation. There are no guarantee fees and students do not need a co-signer, these student loans have a low interest rate of 6.8 percent and are secured by the government.

NextStudent’s Stafford Student Loan Incentives

NextStudent has professionally trained Education Finance Advisers who know all the ins and outs of the numerous student loan programs offered. They are available to assist student borrowers with all their questions about the Federal Stafford Student Loan program. Through NextStudent’s Student Loan program, student borrowers receive:

·A .375 percent reduction on their interest rate when they make payments through Auto-Debit
·A 2 percent interest rate reduction: 1 percent after the first 12 months of consecutive on-time payments, with an additional 1 percent rate reduction after 24 months of consecutive on-time payments
·A 2 percent upfront cash rebate, whereby borrowers receive the full amount they qualify for at disbursement. Borrowers must participate in Auto-Debit and make one on-time monthly payment to qualify.

Types of Stafford Student Loans

There are two types of Stafford student loans: subsidized and unsubsidized. To qualify for a subsidized Stafford student loan a student must show financial need. The government pays the interest while a student is in school and during grace periods and deferment. With unsubsidized Stafford student loans, students are responsible for the interest; however, payment is deferred until after graduation. All students are eligible for unsubsidized Stafford loans.

Eligibility

Federal Stafford loans are eligible for federal student loan consolidation (http://www.nextstudent.com/) . There are no prepayment penalties. Repayment typically starts six months after graduation. In addition, there are alternate available repayment options, including deferment and forbearance.

In order to be eligible for a federal Stafford student loan, borrowers must either be enrolled at least half time in a degree or certificate program, a citizen of the United States or an eligible noncitizen, current on existing federal education loans, and a high school graduate or have an equivalency diploma.

Federal Stafford student loans are affordable and can help students get through college without the worry of paying back student loans until after graduation. NextStudent’s program offers a variety of incentives to make these student loans even more affordable and manageable. There is no reason not to take advantage of a great deal that helps students obtain their dream of a college education.

NextStudent offers one-on-one education finance counseling and has a portfolio of highly competitive education lending products and services including an online scholarship search engine, low and no-cost federal student loans ( http://www.nextstudent.com/ ), parent loans, private loans, student loan consolidation programs (http://www.nextstudent.com/consolidation_loans/consolidation_loans.asp) and college savings plans.

The NextStudent Scholarship Search Engine, one of the nation’s oldest and largest scholarship search engines, is updated daily, available free of charge, completely private and represents 2.4 million scholarships worth $3.4 billion.

College Scholarship Search

For some, entering college is hard enough but with all financial obligations you and your family have been going through, there is no doubt that entering college is much more difficult.

On the average, a median college and university charges $20,000 a year per student. That would not cover other personal expenses for the whole school year. For this reason, finishing or even entering college is far more difficult that you can imagine; not unless of course if your parents have been very good in making more money than you can ever spend. Nonetheless, for most students like you and most families like yours, college could be a dream.

Not anymore, with several thousands scholarships out there, you can easily go to college for less, even for free!

But you have to remember first that not all college scholarship grants are created equal. There are those that answers partial expenses. There are those that answer full. There are other college scholarships that provide the need of minorities, particular degree the student would like to take, particular race, etc.

The question right now is: How can you locate and pinpoint a particular college scholarship that is perfectly right for you?

The answer: By using college scholarship search.

College scholarship search is the best tool you can use if you want to search for a particular college scholarship that fits you and your need. College scholarship search is far better than using the conventional search engines like Google and Yahoo if you want to locate a scholarship grant.

With college scholarship search, you have the access on the online database that can contain as much as 50,000 college funding sources. You can also have an access to millions of individual awards that is equivalent to at least 3 billion dollars worth of scholarships.

To have an access on these sites, all you have to do is to enter your personal information including your name, age, birthday, address, e-mail address, citizenship, and race among others. Other college scholarship search would require you to give your academic information about yourself. This would include your past scholarship grants and awards received.

College scholarship search will give you the ultimate ease that would lead you to the best and most suited scholarship you can get. And the best thing about using this is that, you don’t have to search far and spend too much time on the web. The college scholarship search is all you need.

The Meatrix

The Meatrix is a product of the first-ever Free Range Flash Activism Grant. In February 2003, Free Range Graphics, a cutting-edge design company, invited hundreds of non-profit organizations to apply for a grant that included production of a free Flash movie. After carefully reviewing more than 50 applications, the grant was awarded to GRACE’s Sustainable Table program.

Sustainable Table works to educate consumers about the problems with factory farming and to promote sustainable food. The Meatrix was originally produced as a way to promote the Eat Well Guide, Sustainable Table’s online directory of sustainable farms, stores and restaurants in the US and Canada that sell meat, poultry, dairy and eggs from small, sustainable family farmers. But only days after release, it became evident that The Meatrix was also an excellent educational tool about factory farming. The film broke all records for online advocacy and was seen by millions of people in the first few months alone.

What are some ways to find college grants?

i have hope grant, Pell and i am trying to find more. does anyone know where to look? i tried the library but that book only has scholarships and loan information. i want grants that i can use to have more money for college and not have to pay back or worry about interest over a 6 year period
there are whats called third party grants. and i have need for them i just don’t know how to find them.

Grants are given out on a "need’ basis. The fafsa application is the only true grant application that I know of for folks who want to go to college. By filling out the fafsa you are applying not only for federal grants but also state grants. It sounds like you are looking for additional money, which would be scholarships, not grants.

How can my school offer Federal Grants and Loans?

I would like to know who to contact about making loans available to my students through thr government. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This is not something a student can do. Only the school will be able to request and submit documentation so they are eligible to receive federal financial aid.
